Description

Few have heard of the Laguna Escondida lagoon, and if they have, it has almost certainly been from the mouth of one of the native inhabitants in the Altar Volcano region. This small and mysterious lagoon is located at the foot of the Obispo peak on its western face, rising from the Mandur Lagoon with almost no trail for just over 1 kilometer directly to the north. The most convenient way would be to spend the night at the Campo Italiano and the next day go down to Laguna Mandur and then head towards Laguna Escondida. Another alternative would be spending the night at Laguna Mandur.
