Description

Salinas de Guaranda is a picturesque town located in the Bolívar province. In just a few blocks, a wide variety of businesses and enterprises have been established, which have made this prodigious land known, such as Salinerito cheeses, chocolates, nougats, sausages, textiles, wines, jams, dried mushrooms, aromatic waters, and a diversity of delicious and excellent quality products. It's worth the trip just for the landscape, and what better than to leave with some delicious artisan products. Or you could also walk from the town to the old salt mines, now in disuse, which at one time supplied the Sierra towns.
