Ecuventure is an established and trademarked company registered with the government of Ecuador.
Please read the following terms & conditions that govern the relationship between you (the client) and Ecuventure. Please note that by booking a trip you are agreeing to be bound by the Terms and Conditions. Both parties agree to the Terms and Conditions to resolve any legal or other disputes that may occur during the trip.

Booking and Payments:
To book any type of trip you must send us a filled in booking form with 25% of the total amount of your package cost as a deposit. The remainder of your trip payment is due upon your arrival in Quito, Ecuador.

Payment Methods:
Booking deposit can be made by bank transfer or money courier service. We will give you our bank account number when you require it so you can complete your reservation. Note: any bank service charge is to be paid by client.

Final Payment:
Final payment of your package can be made upon your arrival in Ecuador. Final payment can be made by cash, bank transfer or by credit card (Visa or Mastercard).

Cancellation Policy:

A written notice of cancellation must be submitted by the client and acknowledged by the company.

Ecuventure will fully refund all deposits if the cancellation letter is received at least one month prior to the arranged trip start date.

Cancellation charges are expressed hereafter as a percentage of the total tour price.

If the cancellation is made before 30 days from the start of the trip the bank processing charge will be deducted and the remainder of the balance will be refunded.

If the cancellation is made before 15 days prior to the trip start date 30% of the total trip charge and the bank processing charge will be held and the remainder will be refunded.

If cancellation is made before 7 days prior to the trip start date 40% of the total trip charge and the bank processing charge will be held and the remainder will be refunded.

If cancellation is made within the week of your departure no refund will be provided.

Cancellation of a tour by the company:

The company reserves the right to cancel any trip or to make changes in it’s regular itineraries due to differing conditions that are beyond the company’s control. Sometimes due to natural disasters, consequences of strikes, wars, riots or changes due to political or social conditions of the country Ecuventure reserves the right to cancel the trip. If the company cancels a trip which has been guaranteed we will refund the price of the trip and we will endeavor to offer an alternative trip of a similar nature and cost.

The company is not responsible for those incidents beyond our control and any incidental expenses or consequential losses that the client may have incurred as a result of the booking such as visa’s, non-refundable flights or any other kinds of fees etc.

Medical conditions, responsibility & personal belongings:

Some trips may be unsuitable for clients due to age, mobility, pregnancy or physical or mental conditions. It is the responsibility of the client to check prior to booking. The company is not required to provide any special facilities unless it has agreed to do so in writing.

The company does not take responsibility for any possible injury or death while travellers are engaged in activities facilitated by the company. So travellers are strongly advised to purchase an adequate travel insurance policy which contains full medical insurance. It is also imperative that travellers follow the advice and instructions of guides and tour leaders during their trip.

The company does not accept any responsibility for loss or damage of luggage or any other personal belongings on your trip. So it is important for travellers to ensure the care of their personal property.

Travel Insurance:
Adequate and valid travel insurance is compulsory for all travellers. So make sure that your travel insurance must cover: accidental injury, illness, death, medical expenses, emergency evacuation, trip cancellation, flight cancellation, loss or theft of valuables, luggage and personal effects.

Trip Amendment:
Ecuventure reserve the right to amend the tour cost at a point if required. The cost of the amendment depends upon the company’s arrangements with other parties such as hotels / guest houses, flight tickets and so on. The reason for amendment may be due to things such as weather conditions, sudden changes to the rules and regulations, entry fees, political reasons and so on.

Incomplete or Unused Tour:
We are not bound to refund or to give a discount for missed, incomplete or unused services, in the instance where the customer has to cancel the trip before the services end or due to late arrival on the tour.

Abiding by the Law:
If any of our clients violate any national law, rules & regulations or if they are found to be involved in any criminal activities the company reserves the right to end their services at any point during the tour and no refund will be issued.

Required Documents / Passport & Visa:
All clients must carry a valid passport with a current Ecuador visa during their tour.
