Padre Encantado is one of the mountains around Quito, visible from the south of the city. It's part of the Pichinchas massif, along with Guagua Pichincha, Ruco Pichincha and Cerro Ladrillos. To climb to the summit, the easiest way would be to start from the Guagua Pichincha refuge, following the trail that leads to Ruco Pichincha. Padre Encantado Peak is a rocky mountain, excellent for anyone who wants an easy hike at over 4000m in the vicinity of Quito.
