Parque Metropolitano La Armenia
Description
Parque Metropolitano La Armenia with its 30 hectares is the largest in Los Chillos Valley, and one of the most beautiful in the Metropolitan District of Quito. It's located in La Armenia neighborhood, north of San Rafael. What is most striking is the enormity of these trees, where the pines, cypresses and cholanes stand out. This forest is a lung in the middle of the valley, which also offers a wide variety of children's games, barbecue areas, rest areas, exercise and dance therapy, fun for dogs, and especially an abundance of very attractive trails for walking, jogging or biking.

How to get
Metropolitan District of Quito; It's located in La Armenia neighborhood, Los Chillos Valley.
- Normal Approach “Autopista General Rumiñahui” Hw: At bridge three, take Sebastián de Benalcázar st. until you reach Gualberto Arcos st., you can see the park to the right, a large forest of tall trees.
- Approach “Vía Intervalles”: If you come from the Valley of Cumbayá - Tumbaco, you can take the Intervalles highway towards El Tingo. Shortly before arriving at Tingo, take the detour to Guangopolo and Sebastián de Benalcázar st. until you reach Gualberto Arcos st., you can find the park to the left.
