Day 1: Acclimatization day climbing over 5300 meters to the Agujas de Whymper

We will pick you up from your hotel in Quito at 5am to transfer to the Chimborazo Volcano. Around 11am we'll go to the Carrel Refuge for an acclimatization hike to the Agujas de Whymper rocks. Then return to the hostel in the afternoon for resting and having dinner.

Sleep at Hostal Chakana with dinner and breakfast included

Day 2: We will move after breakfast to the Carrel Refuge (4800 meters).

Free day for resting and acclimatization. Optionally, we offer the choice of spending this night at the 5300 meters high camp, an additional US 50 per person required value, also with dinner and breakfast included.

Sleep in the Carrel Refuge with dinner and breakfast included

    Day 3: Chimborazo Summit

We will leave in the early morning towards the Whymper Summit where we hope to arrive around 8am. The activity will be led by our certified guides. A breakfast will wait for us at the refuge, and some resting before leaving to Quito at noon. It's estimated to arrive in Quito between 4 and 5pm.
