    Description

    GENERAL INFORMATION

We will leave Quito early in the morning and head towards the Cotopaxi National Park. Our hike will begin at the Limpiopungo Lagoon, where we will follow a trail that will take us through the paramo to the base of the Rumiñahui rock. During the entire journey we will enjoy the formidable views of Cotopaxi and Sincholagua. Climbing Central Rumiñahui does not present difficulties, only a hike along an inclined slope between sand and rocks until reaching the summit, the last meters through a short III degree rock climb. We are going to enjoy the amazing views on this small summit, where two people advance joustingly.
