    GENERAL INFORMATION

We will go up with our transportation to the Corazón Volcano Access Control, where the hike to the summit begins, following a trail through the páramo until we reach the Corazón south-western ridge. The slope is moderate and as we advance we can enjoy the attractive views of the Ilinizas. El Corazón is a rocky mountain that usually has snow patches in winter. We will continue among the sandbanks and rocks until we reach the ridge highest point and following this ridge we will end at the Corazón Highest Summit at 4800 meters. This mountain just requires hiking until the last section near its summit, where we will have small passes of IV grade rock climbing. The view is spectacular, when it allows us to observe the Ecuadorian coast and that sea of clouds that sometimes appears at our feet, or the Ilinizas and Cotopaxi mountains.
